Equipment

We received ESRC funding to purchase a versatile, wide bore, high field magnet and supporting stages (able to operate in Strong Magnetic Field (SMF) with intensity up to 15 Tesla). The equipment and stages will enable us to set up a unique national capability for the synthesis, processing and manufacturing of materials - Materials Engineering in a strong Magnetic field (acronym MEM).
